Molly is a Ford Model and here she was kind enough to share with us her simple but yet effective way of making inexpensive jewelry.
She goes through two simple examples: First: She finds some pins (these can usually be found in a flea market or garage sales) and all she does is add a chain and it becomes a beautiful inexpensive necklace. Read more…

This is one of those Stories I like to read. A Young Lady carving her mark in the world by making jewelry. Don’t believe me? Read on.
Sarah Purgus, jewelry is much more than the perfect complement to a nice outfit.
For this award-winning young artist, jewelry is a form of expression.
“I enjoy working with my hands,” said Ms. Purgus, an 18-year-old Dartmouth High School graduate who earned a national Scholastic Award in design for her portfolio of silver and stone jewelry.
“With the jewelry design I’m able to explore a lot, to be myself creatively.”
Under the tutelage of teacher Judy Cronin, chairwoman of the Unified Arts Department at Dartmouth High School, as well as other Dartmouth High School art educators, Ms. Purgus has established herself as an accomplished artist at a young age. Full Story
